Don’t Give Up…on God.

What should we do when we feel like giving up? Be honest with God about our feelings. It’s in the Bible, Psalm 13:1, TLB.

“How long will you forget me, Lord? Forever? How long will you look the other way when I am in need?”

God has promised strength when we need it. It’s in the Bible, Colossians 1:11-12, TLB.

“Being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.”

Giving up often causes us to miss the best God has to offer. It’s in the Bible, II Corinthians 4:16-17, TLB.

“That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our inner strength in the Lord is growing every day. These troubles and sufferings of ours are, after all, quite small and won’t last very long. Yet this short time of distress will result in God’s richest blessing upon us forever and ever!”

When our hearts condemn us, we should not give up. It’s in the Bible, I John 3:19,20, NIV.

“This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in His presence whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts; and He know everything.”
